The Learnings

This project allowed me to improve my technical skills and learn more about editorial design. I saw how grid systems help create consistency and balance, while column layouts affect how easy it is to read the content. Typography is a potent tool for setting the magazine's tone and personality. Balancing structure and creativity pushed me to think carefully and find new ideas within limits, ensuring each design choice had a clear purpose. This project also improved my attention to detail in layout, composition, and print production. I now feel more confident in moving designs from screen to print. Overall, these experiences have sharpened my eyes, refined my design process, and deepened my understanding of effective editorial design.
