This project focuses on mastering gradient and blending techniques in Adobe Illustrator to create a lively brand identity for a new skateboard line. The design draws inspiration from skateboarding culture's unique style and creativity. It targets a fun-loving, trend-aware audience aged 5 to 18 who are enthusiastic about skateboarding, anime, pop culture, fashion, and street art.
The goal is to design a brand that appeals to this young, energetic group by merging the adventurous spirit of skateboarding with anime-inspired art, reflecting their vibrant and creative lifestyle.
Illustrator and Designer
Creating the Kawaii Kick brand identity, inspired by Japanese themes and anime (particularly Spy x Family), deepened my understanding of blending creativity with audience appeal. I explored various blend and gradient techniques in Illustrator, which helped me design visuals that reflect the brand’s vibrant and playful personality. This project reinforced the importance of self-expression and understanding the target audience in branding. The experience improved my technical skills and taught me how to infuse adventurous spirit into designs, valuable lessons I’ll carry forward in my graphic design work.
