The project requires creating two logos using the Quadradius Method. Students select two animals with positive traits, gather visual research, and sketch six logos (three for each animal) on grid paper. They then develop a company profile for each logo, detailing attributes like regal or playful. After receiving approval, students digitize the logos, adding type and colour to align with brand identity, resulting in four versions. These logos will be applied to stationery, a website, and three other branded items, culminating in a comprehensive digital and print presentation.
Creating a logo and working on the Quadradius System project helped me simplify animal images into business symbols. Initially challenging, it became satisfying as I learned to balance empty and filled parts while retaining essential features. I followed a structured approach that enhanced my understanding of design cohesion. Feedback from others improved my work. This experience taught me the importance of simplicity in design, which will benefit my future branding and logo design projects.
